As I mentioned in my note, I’m sure that my conclusions will match Sullivan’s. That being the case, if you’ve already asked him about these clues, you probably won’t learn anything new here.

If you do choose to use this site, you’ll still need to email Sullivan about the access code for Rosalyn’s Dressing Room. You’ll also need to email him the case’s Solution once you’ve figured out who Rosalyn’s stalker is.

I’ve sent letters to celebrities before, but none of them have ever been anywhere near this creepy. Well, maybe one, but I was just an awkward kid.

Anyway, I haven’t had any luck trying to pick out individual letters from the misspelled words. I’ve got a feeling that, rather than highlighting specific letters, the author might just want us to focus on the misspelled words as a whole.

It looks like I was right. When we only read the misspelled words, the message says:

“Why can’t you see things through my eyes? I’ve looked through yours. To find the code to your changing room, all I had to do was look at your show’s poster through your eyes.”

Talk about creepy! No wonder Rosalyn wanted help trying to figure out who’s stalking her.

Lucky for us, I think this might help us figure out the code so that I can get into Rosalyn’s dressing room (For the investigation – not because I’m a fan!). I’m not sure how to do it yet, but it sounds like we need to look at the poster marked as Clue 2 through Rosalyn’s eyes.

As weird as it sounds, I think the stalker may have been talking about looking through Rosalyn’s eyes literally. The problem is, I’m not sure how they – or we – can do that. There’s got to be something I’m missing here.

I think I’m onto something. Clue 1’s creepy message mentioned that we need to look at the poster through Rosalyn’s eyes, right? This is going to sound weird, but I’ve figured out how we can do that.

Sullivan said that he sent you Rosalyn’s headshot. I think that what you’ll need to do is cut her eyes out of it (Weird, I know – believe me!) so that you can “look through” them.

After you’ve done that, you’ll have to figure out where to position her picture on the poster so that you can see a single, coherent word through her eyes. If I understood Clue 1’s message correctly, that word should be the code to Rosalyn’s dressing room.

Once you’ve figured out the code, you can send Sullivan an email to let him know what it is. When you do, he’ll get in touch with me so that I can get into Rosalyn’s dressing room.

I still haven’t had any luck figuring out the code. Unfortunately, I’m having trouble finding another copy of Rosalyn’s headshot, so I may not be able to help much further.

My only advice is to try moving Rosalyn’s headshot to different points on the poster to see what you can find. I’ve got a feeling that the code will be a single, coherent word that’s broken up between Rosalyn’s two eyes.

I won’t be surprised if he recommends the same things I have at first but, once you both work through it together, I’m sure one of you will be able to figure out the code.

So far, I’ve figured out what the missing symbols are for the leftmost column. From top to bottom, the missing symbols are: eye, lips, magnifying glass, bat, and coffin.

Since all we need to know is what letter each symbol stands for, I don’t think you’ll need to fill in every row and column if you don’t want to.

I think the words “Ideal Love Gaze” should be enough to help us figure out which letter each symbol represents. Since the eye symbol is under the “I” in “Ideal,” I think that it stands for the letter “I.” Since the lip symbol is under the letter “D,” it stands for “D,” etc.

After you’ve decoded each of the symbols, I think the reminder under the “Forgot Your Username” section of the website that Rosalyn’s fan mail led us to should make a lot more sense.

I was able to figure out which symbols belonged in each box on the casting call ad. Here’s what the finished version should look like:

With that in mind, we know that each symbol stands for the following letters:

If we look at the “Forgot Your Username” section of the website, we have to replace each of the symbols with their appropriate letters and move them forwards or backwards in the alphabet, as indicated.

For example, “heart + 1” means that we need to use the letter that’s 1 place in the alphabet after “L,” which is “M.”

When we do that for each of the symbols, we get:

“msvanhelsing”

That’s actually kind of clever – Van Helsing is an infamous vampire hunter. If Rosalyn really does hate vampires – like her stalker says – this username is perfect for her.

Anyway, I just tried it, and “msvanhelsing” (all lowercase) works. Now, it looks like we need to figure out her password. Call it a hunch, but I think the “Forgot Your Password” button on the next screen should be able to help us get started with that.

Lucky for us, it sounds like the script labeled as Clue 4 should help us figure out Rosalyn’s password. Try taking a look at it and see what you can find.

Since we already figured out what each symbol stands for, we can replace them with letters – like so:

The “Forgot Your Password?” section says that we have to connect each of these letters with a single line that never overlaps in order to create a message, right? It also says that we have to follow a specific color pattern, too.

I think I’ve figured out the pattern. It starts with black, then red, and ends with blue – then it repeats. If I’m right, I think that means we’ll want to start with the “A” in the top left corner and move directly down to spell the word “all.”

Is it just me, or does the script’s plot somehow feel a little familiar? I just can’t put my finger on why. It’s probably not important.

Regardless, I just drew all over it and connected each of the letters according to the pattern I mentioned. Here’s what it looks like:

If that’s right, the password should be “alllovegodzilla” (all lowercase). Yep – that works! I’m in.

From what I can tell, it looks like there’s only one email in Rosalyn’s inbox. Judging from the subject line, I’m guessing that it’s got to be from her stalker. If we’re lucky, maybe it will help us finally figure out who this person is.

I’ve still got to wander around here looking like I belong, so I’ll leave this part up to you and Sullivan. Once you’ve figured out the stalker’s identity, let Sullivan know their name. Of course, if you need help, you can always ask Sullivan for his opinion, too.

Note: I have the feeling that we might learn more about this once I get inside of Rosalyn’s dressing room. If you haven’t sent Sullivan the code yet, I’d recommend doing so first.

I’ve been looking at the stack of fan mail I “borrowed” from the police. The random lines at the edges of each letter really stand out to me. I think there’s more to them than some kind of misguided decoration – I think the lines on each sheet combine with others to form full letters.

Even if I’m right, I doubt the letters will mean anything on their own. In fact, I won’t be surprised if Rosalyn’s stalker coded the message in order to keep it from being easily read. Given their obsession with vampires, though, I have the feeling that they probably shifted the alphabet using “vampires” as their keyword. If I’m right, the letters would be as follows:

A = V    B = A    C = M    D = P
E = I    F = R    G = E    H = S
I = B    J = C    K = D    L = F
M = G    N = H    O = J    P = K
Q = L    R = N    S = O    T = Q
U = T    V = U    W = W    X = X
Y = Y    Z = Z

If you’re having trouble making letters out of the lines in the margins, you may want to try stacking the letters on top of one another so that the lines at the edges meet.

Looking at this, I think whatever message Rosalyn’s stalker is sending is broken up into four pieces – 1 along each edge. That means we need to figure out which edge on each of the three letters is the top, which is the middle, and which is the bottom for each arrangement.

Once you’ve arranged everything correctly, you should be able to decode the message using the “vampires” alphabet I mentioned before.

Good news – Sullivan and I just talked this through a little more and figured it out. Here’s what the letters are once each section has been lined up correctly:

After we shift them according to the “vampires” alphabet, we get:

“StorageFiles.Net/RosalynsMail”

That’s weird – this sounds like Rosalyn’s personal email account, which is something I doubt she’d want her fans to have. I wonder how her stalker found it. Either way, if they emailed Rosalyn like they said they were going to, we need to access her email so that we can read the message. Try visiting the website and see what you can learn.

I’m sure you’ll notice it right away, but there’s a “Forgot Your Username” button on the site. I have the feeling that’s the first thing you’ll want to click in order to learn more about how to get her username.

If we’re lucky, maybe the stuff Sullivan found in Rosalyn’s pockets will help us access her email account. Judging from the “Forgot Your Username” information, if you need some help with her username, you’ll want to take a look at the Casting Call ad that Sullivan marked as Clue 3.
