I’ve been trying to make sense out of the magnet and note that I included in my letter to you. If you’d like to see my thoughts, just click the button below!
The magnet and note are pretty confusing, but I think I see what we need to do in order to get started. The first step is to use the magnet in order to make a table.
The table itself should have 6 columns across the top with the one of the colors from the magnet labeling each one. The order could be important, so I’d recommend keeping the colors in the same order they appear on the magnet.
In addition to the colors, I think you’ll want to include the four symbols from the magnet as labels for the rows at the table’s left. As with the colors, the order could be important, so I’d arrange the symbols in the order they appear, with the shield as the first row, the star as the second, the circle as the third, and the triangle as the fourth.
Once you’ve finished making your table, you’ll want to use the compass on the cemetery map and the note covered in colored symbols to fill out the table and find the message.
The trick to working with the map’s compass is to position the button so that the finger points at the symbol indicated by the row you’re looking at on your table. Once the button is positioned correctly, you’ll then want to find the corresponding symbol with letter on the note I included with your letter. The first should be a blue shield.
When you’ve found the symbol on the note, you should see a cardinal direction written inside of it. You’ll want to look at the map’s compass and see what letter on the button it lines up with it. Then, once you’ve got the letter, you’ll want to look at the symbol’s note once more. Below most of the cardinal directions are numbers. Those numbers tell you how many letters to move forward or backward in the alphabet from the button’s letter. Once you’ve found the correct letter in the alphabet, you can fill it in on your table and move on to the next.
Good news – I just finished decoding everything! It says:
“Sell Serum To The Highest Bidder.”
This is bad – it’s the worst-case scenario I was afraid of. If we can’t figure out who this person is and stop them, it’s only a matter of time before countless people become victims of this drug. Who knows what will happen then!
I don’t know about you, but I, for one, don’t intend to wait around and find out. I’ll let Sullivan know that we need to work even faster to track this person down. I’m sure he’ll be in touch as soon as we find anything.
